Her current independent academic research focuses on neuroendocrine regulation, building upon her previous biochemical and biotechnology research experiences.

Currently serving as the Executive Director of Internal Finance at the Menstrual Equity Initiative, Zeynep leverages her diverse background in both scientific analysis and organizational management. In these roles, she is determined to secure critical grant opportunities, optimize internal financial strategy, and streamline workflows to drive sustainable menstrual health equity worldwide.
