Livia Kam is the Chief Legislation Officer at the Menstrual Equity Initiative (MĚI). She is senior from New Jersey who is driven by a deep curiosity to uncover the truth and bring light to marginalized voices through her advocacy, journalism, and policymaking.

As the Editor-in-Chief of her school’s newspaper and an advocate for student press rights legislation, she is committed to fostering meaningful dialogue to create change. She also leads TEDxMFS, South Jersey's sole active youth event in 2025, where she will give a talk about mindfulness and music.

She is New Jersey’s sole representative to the Al Neuharth Journalism Conference, in addition to winning 2nd Place in the National Scholastic Press Association’s Multimedia News category.
