Iza Piatkowski is a freshman at Brown University studying political science & english. She is passionate about journalism and storytelling. She advocates for causes including menstrual equity, eradicating illiteracy, promoting the arts, keeping AI safe and ethical, and civic engagement. Her creative writing has been published in multiple literary magazines and has been honored with a gold medal in flash fiction from the National Scholastic Art and Writing Competition. ​
