Inclusion of Menstrual Health Education in Public Schools.
Mandatory inclusion of menstrual health education:
Every school shall provide age-appropriate menstrual education as part of the standard health curriculum.
Education shall be:
Evidence-based, medically accurate and culturally appropriate;
Inclusive of all students;
Free of stigma and shame
Education shall include:
Anatomy and physiology of the menstrual cycle;
Information on different types of menstrual products and their safe use;
Discussion of stigma, cultural perspectives, and mental health impacts;

Definitions
“Menstrual health education” means instruction on the biological, social, and practical aspects of menstruation, including:
Menstrual cycle and reproductive health
Use of menstrual products (pads, tampons, cups)
“Covered schools” means:
All public middle schools and high schools in the state of Wisconsin.
“Students” means any individual enrolled in grades 5 to 12
